The Jeep road is usually an obstacle, but this day it was lined with budding flowers and puddles. About .5 miles was an incredible section of purple morning glory flowers pretending it was March. They were speckled with water from the days rain still. I watched a dramatic sunset light up Fish Creek Canyon with Four Peaks off in the distance also collecting an intense glow. Wow an amazing moment ! The hike back was somewhat lonely and dark, but well worth it to see that sunset. |
