| no partners | | Took my first hike in CA while camping in the Laguna mountains. This trail is accessible directly off sunrise hwy or via the PCT a few miles
south of the intersection with the highway. We took the PCT route. The most striking aspect is the terminus which
is a great view down to the Anza Borrego desert, Mt Palomar, and the Salton Sea area (see pics). Not exactly one of my former multi day AZ treks but great nonetheless. |
