A short hike in and the water was flowing. Two cars in the lot and two tents were right at the water. We made our way south and from there out it was short patches of sand and grass with boulder hoping most of the way. The water was cold but flowing very well. I hope there are pockets in the summer months that might retain water. We turned around a few yards before Perry Tank. Had some oranges, enjoyed the view and solitude then headed back. The wind was brutal even with the sun overhead and on the way back we were walking into it.
Once back to the lot we found a full lot. There were BLM people surveying for use of the lands. She said there had been an article in the paper which I did not see. |
