Didn't have enough time to do the "HansenAZ SoMo Pedal Around" as suggested last week. But did have enough time to explore a loop that is labeled "Gila Trail" on a circa 1955 topo map I have of South Mountain. Some of this shows up on GoogleMaps terrain map of the area => http://hikearizona.com/photo.php?ZIP=332807

Much to my surprise, trail work has recently been initiated along this loop (fill, rock edging, bushes trimmed, etc). See photo evidence => http://hikearizona.com/photo.php?ZIP=332805

Maybe this new (old?) loop merits its own hike description... :)
