| no partners | | Before an evening in New Orleans, a few friends and I met at the Twin Canals trailhead in the Barataria Preserve of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. To say it was a buggy adventure would be an understatement. Next time I will wear bug spray with DEET.
Beautiful, swampy, green. You can canoe down the canal. Just be careful of alligators. We saw a couple in the distance. A good place to stop if you are in need of some sort of trail while in south Louisiana.
