| no partners | | | Perfect day for the views on this hike. You have to work for them but they on worth it! Got an early start just after 8AM which is a must for this trail. The reward: Perfect weather at the top, no clouds and no people. Enjoyed the peak by myself for about 30 minutes before returning. Only saw about 10 people out today which is surprising given the quality of the views on this hike. The lookout tower is locked but you can climb up and still get great views from the deck. Could see all 4 peaks: Rainier, St. Helens, Adams and Hood. Wow! |
