I have been wanting to hike out the MMRP windmill for a few years now and today was finally the day. The Dixie mine trail was beautiful as usual. The mileage for this hike was a bit of a surprise, as a trail that I planned to use has been covered over and even access to the windmill area is obstructed. I think we added an extra 1.5 miles to the trek. All in all it was an enjoyable hike.
