| no partners | | | We chose this hike as it was close by our friend's house. Great 360 degree views from the top of this short but steep hike. The guide says 800 ft of elevation gain but my GPS clocked it at 1,511. We had great views of Mt. Adams, decent view of Mt. Hood, a partial view of Mt. St. Helens and just a glimpse of Mt. Rainier. Wildflowers are just starting to come out and huckleberries are still a ways off. All in all a great short hike in the Trout Lake area. |
