| no partners | | Our group of 6 had camped the night before at the first lake (8947) at the end of the Ten Lakes trail. Our camp was professionally located; and situated at the northern middle of this first lake.
After Clair woke up, I decided to explore a bit so I asked her to tend the fire and scare off any bears that may have been searching for Lizard's pants. 
Chum/9L/Boots had wandered off to explore some other lakes around the area, but I had a bit of summit fever after Chum said other hikers he had talked with had peaked that area the day before.
I laced up the boots and took off in a northerly fashion to explore and check out the difficulty...after climbing the short/steep gully near our camp I arrived at a rocky ridge separating the North lake from Lake 8947, to my right I could see several easy routes to the first peak of these Granite Mountains so off I went.
Once at the top of the first peak, you can easily look over and see the other two peaks and know the third one is the actually summit. The route between each peak is very easy and all routes here were no more than easy Class III scrambling...
The 360 views around me were breath-taking. After snapping some pics, I quickly returned back to camp so others wouldn't need to wait for me.
Was a fantastic little "trail-less" hike to outstanding views. I highly recommend if camping near this area...
