some confusion with the Meetup Beginners hike... no shows... some showed, but at the wrong trailhead! But, the four who made it where they were supposed to be enjoyed the planned hike plus an add-on up to the Spring in middle Deadman... then the great Deadman descent.

and, a surprise...

Alamo Canyon flashed just as we arrived at the confluence... with us on the wrong side!

We let it drop a bit then proceeded to get wet. The two new hikers seemed to love their outing and are looking forward to more.

The morning and afternoon combo were fun for me. Nice Day.
