Started From granite mtn TH. Took coyote canyon from granite mtn loop. After 0.7 miles, made left(went west) and took the northern sandy wash. Came back exactly the same way. Beautiful day and coyote canyon trail is very serene. Saw horse and bike tracks on the trail.
On the way back, met a HAZer (very sorry but forgot screen name) who is not active on the site but is involved in bird hikes as a steward in the preserve. I plan to go on those hikes soon.
Bird hike is on 12/28th at 8am at granite mtn TH for anyone interested.
