| no partners | | My wife and I hooked up with a friend and took a late morning lap around the Scenic Trail at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. It was our first time in MMRP. Nice trail, mostly flat with a gradual rise to some very nice views of the distant mountains. Like the hike description says, this is a desert jewel.
On the way home my wife felt like fish tacos, so we stopped at Baja Joe's on Gilbert/McKellips in Mesa. She had grilled fish tacos w/rice and beans and I had the Chilaquiles Verde with two fried eggs, rice and beans. Yum! Just a couple more days of holiday indulgence, then it's back to the trail to shed the extra pounds I've added this month. Ay, yai yai.
Maybe we can get a miracle today with a Cards win and a Seahag loss. Wouldn't that be nice!
Another beautiful day in Paradise! |
