| no partners | | We began our hike from the Oak Flat campground in search of Devil's Canyon. We walked the road about 4 miles in to the southeast never actually in Devil's Canyon. The rock formations captivated hikers as well as the canyon creek we walked in our search. We did reach an overlook of Devil's Canyon, but not the portion we hoped to see. We hiked a bushwhack to form a loop, then moved back to the Oak Flat campground. It's so beautiful up here, we will return. Before we do that, we will research the area to ensure we reach those areas that are described in many of HAZ triplogs. It was still a great hike. |

Wildflowers Observation None A variety of flowers were blooming in some of the areas we walked. |
