It was a misty foggy day with rain drizzling for the most part of the ascent. It started coming down hard and hailing when we got close to the top. Even in the winter, it was still a beautiful hike! The different zones with manzanita, oaks, pines, and aspens made the hike very enjoyable. I've seen pictures from other posts from hikes in the fall - the colors are just gorgeous. Will have to come back in mid to late October for the wonderful colors!
