| no partners | | This is a perfect little "workout" trail. It's not too far from town, if you happen to live in Williams, but it feels like you are way out in the wilderness (until you get to the top, that is, and see the microwave towers.) However, on the top, not too close to the towers, is a very nice perch from which you can see the entire planet. Or at least, a whole lot of territory! Great view!!
I've just moved back to the area for summer seasonal employment. This year I will be able to get by on part-time, so I requested it. Plus, I've got a pair of shoes and a pair of boots that seem to fit well, unlike last summer. So, I'm hoping to get out more.
It's a bit early for the greenery and wildflowers, but the March storm got everything wet, and it was a very warm winter. This week's forecast for scattered thunderstorms should help keep things damp, and hopefully mean that Bill Williams Mountain won't have to be closed in June, as it was last year. |
