Checked out the aspen stands by my house. Not as consistent as the south side of the Peak. Weather was crazy. Fog coming in below and above as well as blowing up adjacent canyons. Cold rain while I was in the sun and 20 degree temp changes with hundred foot elevation changes. 40 degrees when I started and there was an inversion in the pass and 60's when I hit ring the peak until the cold fog blew up the pass from the Springs.
