| no partners | | I walked through the Boyce-Thompson Arboretum in late August when on vacation in Arizona. I'm a 40 year old man from Washington, DC. It was a hot day and the arboretum was closing in 35 minutes, (5 pm) but that was just enough time to get through the loop hike. Not challenging, but filled with beautiful plants and I saw what I thought was a chipmunk and hummingbirds and lots of butterflies. The rock formations in and surrounding the park are quite impressive as well. Given a little more time, I probably would have enjoyed the hike more, with so many different gardens and areas I didn't get time to go see, I'm sure you could spend hours there and not see all the park has to offer. Lots of parking and small entrance fee. |
