I started at the Treasure Park turnoff, where I had found a sign that said "trail". Curious, I followed the path that the sign was next to. After a while I arrived at the lower end of Hospital Flat, and came across the sign identifying the trail, just as the sun was setting. Mystery solved! It was a short little afterthought of a hike, but I found it enjoyable. Especially the Big Creek stretch, with its alpine riparian area. But then, I am easily impressed. |
