| no partners | | This was part of a day of exploring with friend Paul, who is a big fan of the history of the old mines, etc. in Colorado, especially the San Juan Mountains. He used to tell me that since I was a Democrat, I should visit the Sound Democrat mine. Turns out I had driven by it in 2013, but wasn't sure which one it was at the time. So, after touring Animas Forks, we headed over to it. It's fun to have Paul along on these kind of adventures, since he is always providing interesting tidbits of history along the way.
I used to be a Sound Democrat, but since Democrats are just Wall Street Republican light, I am a left of Bernie Democratic Socialist. |
