| no partners | | Second time I've had the honor to visit this spectacular seasonal watershed.
The combination of my curiosity and countless hours of routine late night map studying was the inspiration behind this little adventure as well as most of my hikes for that matter...
Not sure what was up with the wind this past Friday but it was just four hours of brutal and relentless cold gusts that only stopped for a brief half hour or so.
It was so windy that it actually began to pick up and tip over my whole camera unit and tripod which has never happened before.
Regardless of the wind and numerous chilly creek crossings It was truly a perfect day out alone in a place I'm finding a deep appreciation for. |
