| partners | | Went with Mike and friends to an area he'd been too before. Plenty of hills there in fairly pristine desert and we hit some new places as well as favorites: good choice particularly for the "new-to-hiking" co-worker who came along.
Lots of petroglyphs to see and I was particularly impressed by the many paths through the desert and up the hills. These were likely made by ancients and are well-preserved since people and domestic animals have no reason to be there.
