| no partners | | | This is one of my rare one way hikes. Since I live close by it is easy to get someone to pick me up at the end of the hike (Camino Loma Alta Trail Head). This is a very scenic hike through Cieniga Creek and Posta Quemade Ranch and Colossal cave. The part through the flat lands of Rincon Valley is your generic Desert Cattle range, not until you reach Rincon Creek and Hope camp does it change. There was water in Cieniga Creek but none in Rincon Creek(at least in the section I crossed). This is not a hike to do from May to October, although there are plenty of good roads crossing the trail that it could be broken up into smaller bites. |
