Went up to Globe and did the Six Shooter Telephone Trail Loop. Weather was perfect the whole hike. Along the way I experienced several downed trees and a ton of gnats. It got so bad at one point I could hardly continue forward. I was covered with the damn things. I made it to Ferndell Spring where much to my surprise I ran into a small snow patch and then I headed back. The Telephone Trail didn't have the gnat problem which was a welcome reprieve. Saw a little gopher snake and then it was back to the Jeep.

Rare to see snow and a snake on the same hike.

Water was flowing in both canyons.
