Geronimo Trail - South Mountain

I did a loop with Geronimo Trail. I parked at Geronimo Trailhead (saw Coyote there) and walked the road over to the Mormon Trailhead. The city truck passed me on the way to go open the gate. He opened it around 4:45 and I was there a few minutes after. An Owl kept flying ahead of me on the way up and taunting me. I'm Tortoise Hiker... Who,Who,Who,Who... I saw 2 people on Mormon, 8 on National(by Bueno Vista parking) and 2 on Geronimo. The trails are in good shape and the weather was warm but I had shade over half the hike. I was taking a photo of the morning light when I thought I would get a little closer.

Thank God there was a rattle on that snake! Great morning hike on South Mountain!
