| no partners | | I decided to make a quick excursion around the scenic JD Dam Lake. One guy was heading out in a float tube to do some fly fishing and told me he has caught rainbows over 18" here before  . I guess when you have to catch and release it gives them a chance to grow a bit.
I saw two great blue herons and an osprey fly away before encountering a nest of younger osprey that were very vocal. I'm half surprised there isn't a bald eagle living here given the abundance of fish. But I'm sure the resident osprey would have something to say about that! |
