After a very short intense bushwhack through the creek we arrived at the top of the falls. The water was running very low, we anchored off a tree DCR and rappelled off the top. Since the flow was so low the descent was completely dry, save for landing in a calf deep pool at the bottom. 200' rope was just the perfect length and we had a small group of spectators watching at the bottom. This would probably make for a good winter or early season drop when the falls are flowing better. Afterwards we grabbed food in Tillamook and drove up the coast before heading back to Portland. |
