| no partners | | This was a fun hike with friends. We started off from the Camp Ground and went South on an old jeep road. We saw several cars and SUV's try the road that day and turn around. While hiking further up there was a lot of evidence of rock scraped by others who had tried. We didn't stay on the road the whole time as we ventured off on small trails, etc. (the end of our hike is not on the route scout map I am including) We had directions to find some petriglyphs we never found but the hike was nice just the same.
It is a very rocky "trail." Some parts are quite sandy. One of us fell and cut their hand because of loose rocks and gravel.
Because it was very dry we didn't see many flowers. |
