Recovering from a cold that kept me home last weekend, I'm feeling much better now and was ready for a good trail ride. This is a nice and mild trail that connects up to Shasta Dam. The feeling when I first glimpse the massive dam is awesome, and the grassy areas around the dam with nice benches and picnic tables have beautiful views of Shasta Lake.
