| no partners | | Headed out to the Tanks with no particular trail in mind-- I have been wanting to do Goldwater Peak for a while but was getting a late start and decided I had neither the time nor the energy on this day. Ended up stopping at Area 4 parking lot and heading Southbound on the Mule Deer Trail.
Nice hike with only minimal foot and bike traffic on Mule Deer in spite of the abundance of cars throughout the park. The South trail makes for a nice little connector Eastward back to Mule Deer with only the need for about 100 yards walking along the roadway.
Great location. Beautiful day. What more can one ask for? |
