Today we hiked the Go John trail for the umpteenth time. The weather was perfect and the flowers are just a shade past prime. I certainly haven't been on every trail in the valley but I can attest that, of the ones I have been on, the Cave Creek Regional Park has the most outstanding collection of wild flowers. The brittle bush, poppies, lupine, chicory and many more are in wild abundance.

Get out here before you miss this wild display!!!!

My wife also saw our first snake today. I didn't see it so I have no idea what she saw. She just said it was red and before I could get there, it was long gone. My pool guy seems to think it was something called a red racer because of its quick get away. :-k
