Reminds me somewhat of Bear Gulch in Montana, where many of the figures are holding shields, (warriors). However, the rock art at Bear Gulch, the figures are small-scale slender figures. At medicine lodge many of the figures are near life size with shields. The figures are big and round almost like a sumo wrestler. Perhaps it was just a simple way for the artist(s) to draw. |
