| no partners | | This was the first of three hikes the pups and I did on a little dogcation in Colorado.
The trail is in excellent shape and the views from up top are pretty amazing. In particular, the views towards Lizard Head Peak are really nice. However, even the views towards the highway were pretty nice in my opinion. After hitting the little gimmie peak along the ridgeline we continued on another mile or so before turning around. On our way back we made a short detour down the Wilson Meadow Trail, we turned around at the nice viewing area of Lizard Peak. There were a decent amount of people on the trail as I returned. A solid climb to the high point along the trail. |
