| no partners | | | A hike that starts out at the Sunshine Village Ski Resort just outside of Banff, Alberta. The views along this hike would have been much better without the smoke and clouds but you can only control what you can control. The smoke wasn't as bad as our day at Lake Louise but it was still pretty bad. However the end of hike has you hiking across some lovely sub-alpine meadows. Perhaps the smoke scared off the wildlife as though it looked like prime habitat for elk and/or bears, we only saw ground squirrels along the trail. |
