| no partners | | | Short stop on the way to Vegas. I always like the road up to this one, it was in really good shape this time. Cool, cloudy, and breezy when we started, and it stayed that way the entire time. The trail drops a little bit to start, then it's a steady uphill. About halfway up the first hill, my friend thought the saddle above was the top of the peak, he was disappointed to learn that we still had another mile and a half to the top. I tried not to laugh too much. Short scramble the final 20' or so to the top, took a short break, then headed back down. Always a nice hike to stretch the legs along the drive. |
