| no partners | | The target today was to climb to an arch location we spotted on a previous trip in the Goldfield Mountains. The hike out was nice although a little windy. The climb to the arch was easier than expected. In hindsight we should have taken the same route down but instead descended down the back of the arch which lead us to some very loose gravel and into a very bad thicket area. Since we were done with the business part of the hike we chose to take the longer, scenic route back to the trailhead.
