Sister and her bf joined me and my three kids on a late morning hike. Temps were nice and we quickly shed outer layers. Trail was well cairned and I let the 5 yr old do most of the route finding. Kids started whining at the final saddle so we decided to skip the final climb to the horn’s base. Overall, the section near Willow Creek was the most scenic, and it was nice talking with adults after so many kid vacation days.
