Saturday I left Phoenix before the sun was up to head to Lynx Lake for a hike on the 311. Temps were in the low 50's when I arrived a little after 7. I set out going clockwise so I would have the sun behind me for pictures to begin with. After about 45 minutes I was able to take off my long sleeved shirt. The trail was nice with a little up and down to keep it interesting. I stopped at the south shore for a snack break and enjoyed watching the ospreys overhead. The trail on the west side is paved with a few benches throughout which provided a nice respite for me. This is a great little hike which I would recommend to anyone!
