| no partners | | Took my mom out for some off-trail fun for some fall colors up on the Rim.
Started from Fish Hatchery, headed out on Highline and then up the very steep trail of Horton to the Rim Road (my mom was probably questioning her decision to hike with me at this point). Then ventured off into Turkey Creek. Pretty easy moving along the creek and through the forest. Saw some Maples and Aspens and no one in sight, could not as for more. I would say in one week it will hit its prime, but it was beautiful nevertheless. First time on the Babe Haught Trail for myself as well, and really enjoy the views of the rim! |
