hadn't planned on adding details but I just can't help myself. not off to a scenic start with 3 different color poop bags in the first 1/2 mile. The trail where they lay the extra rock seems to hold up well with these recent storms.

only encountered about 1/2 dozen hikers, all said hello. Passed by the partially Christmas-decorated Foothills Palo Verde at Nwestern saddle.

the sky was fabulous today as was the light. I could see all the way to Geronimo's Head

. Yes, I was at Lookout Mountain Circumference. Granite Mountain at the Sonoran Preserve was highlighted but I couldn't get a good photo.

quads hurt from yesterday's hike so good thing I got out. Sciatica in knee is bothersome. Read that my chronic sciatica is from the bulging disc in my back; oh joy!

and then off to grocery shop.

I'm sure many of you probably got some awesome pictures with this sky today. Wish I'd been at the Supes or Goldfields.
