Went to Kings Crown Peak from the East approach. Followed the mine road for about 1.5 miles and then went left up the slope. A bit steep and rocky all the way, but not hot so had a great hike. Found the benchmark but couldn't find a log book ??? Looked in the obvious places but no luck. On the way down we detoured over one ridge to look at a rock wall someone had built for some unknown reason. Maybe for fencing.
