After seeing numerous pictures of a Bald Eagle at Chapparal Park in Scottsdale I decided to drive down and try my luck. Arriving about 6am I set out taking pictures of some of the local residents. After sitting for a few minutes I got back up to continue walking around the lake (east side). I then noticed some men standing around and as I got closer I could see that they were all armed with cameras sporting long telephoto lenses. I got close enough where I could ask one what they were looking for. He said "A Bald Eagle as a matter of fact he is up in that tree over yonder". Sure enough there he was! I was able to snap several pictures then watched as he flew down the lake then shortly returning to the same tree. What a thrill!
