I had not been to the Meridian TH at the north end of Meridian Rd in almost a year, so I decided this would be good little exercise hike to do in hot weather.

This was a hike that was a combination of two loop hikes: The Peak 3004 Loop and the Pass Mountain Loop.

From the TH, we went north on the Bulldog Saddle Trail up to Bulldog Saddle, between the Peak 3004 Ridgeline and the Peak 3108 Ridgeline. Then we took the good use trail down into the valley north of Peak 3004, and looped around back up to Pass Mountain Saddle. Once at the Pass Mountain Saddle, we took the Pass Mountain Trail and did a CCW loop around Pass Mountain. Once at the Pass Mountain TH, we continued on the Pass Mountain Loop Trail, and then about 1/4 mile from the TH we took a use trail into and out of ravine and continued on to the TH.

The view of 4 Peaks was crystal clear today...a week ago you would not have been able to see 4 Peaks at all for all of the smoke.

On the way up to Bulldog Saddle we saw a couple of deer who were not camera shy at all.
