| no partners | | The lovely Mrs Dilling and I have been up to the end of Cactus Road out of the Southern Bulldog Gate (where the FAA radar/transponder is) to see a sunrise, so I thought I would head up to see a sunset. Lynne stayed down at the little view area, but I climbed up to the rocks and ridge above.
The clouds looked promising when we arrived. When I got up to the ridge I saw some climbers out on the formation east of Greevers Needle. It looked like a tightrope rigging. I arrived too late to see the daredevils tempt gravity. I know this is a climbers area. I stayed safely along the ridgeline and the large tuff formation.
The sunset was spectacular, better than I was expecting. I stayed up on the ridge, moving around a little to see the different angles. This is an area I will have to fully explore soon. Lots of little caves in this area. |
