With my wife, I hiked out from the Tatum trailhead, past the frog pond, to 56th street, then completed the loop on the north side of the area. It was a cool, cloudy, rainy day with thunder. Lots of birds out, including some hawks. There were some huge pack rat dens over near the levee, as well.
