| no partners | | | Hike to this spectacular ruin is no more challenging than the drive in, which is fine until the last 1.5 miles, which requires patience and a high clearance vehicle. Trailhead is initially tough to spot, but trail opened up and improved as we went along. At one point the hike becomes challenging, with some serious slip-sliding and boulder crawls involved, but then it morphs into a walk in the park. This is most pristine and unspoiled ruin I have come across yet. Time well spent. |
