had something else in mind for this afternoon but weather forced me to stay close to home. I was dressed in hiking gear and decided to ask Echo, Alexa's cousin, if there was any rain in the forecast. She said, "it's raining now". Well it wasn't raining when I walked upstairs but by gosh, I went downstairs and it had started sprinkling . Clever girl that Echo. So I waited an hour or so before heading out.
Went clockwise, it was nippy, brisk wind at first, about 1/2 dozen hikers, the guys didn't say hello back.
WATCH: 2.49 miles 128 avg bpm, 143 high. 7% Zone 5, 56% Zone 4 and 37% Zone 3 burning 300 calories. Temp at start 60.7 degrees and 40% humidity (didn't feel that high but I suppose that was because of the breeze). |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
