First trip of the year up Haystack. No sign of wildflowers. The sage and manzanita weren't as verdant, either. The trail up is an old jeep road, which has been in poor shape with lots of sage and manzanita growing up in the middle. Someone has obviously been putting some work into improving the road, and tire tracks from off road vehicles were abundantly present.
