| no partners | | | Had just enough time to locate some nice sized rainbows in a stream near Unicoi TN. Limestone Cove day use recreation area has about 10-12 pull off spots next to the creek. There are picnic tables, grills, and lots of trash. With some kids swimming 200 yards upstream, I set out to look for a deep hole to fish. The TWRA stocks this area fairly heavily. These were nice fish ranging between 13-15 inches. Caught and released a half dozen in an hour. There is also a hiking trail across the street that I didn't have time to check out. |
