I wanted to share some photos I took in the last two weeks. Could not think of a name for the photoset so....., Generic Name.

I'm told the rock is Fuchs Rock.

One website says 1 in 10,000 saguaros are crested. Another website says, "Crested saguaros occur in less than one of every 200,000 saguaros." Let's just say they are rare. They are always a nice surprise to find.

As for that snake, my hiking buddy said he thought it was dead. So I hit his tail with my pole. He jumped towards me :o . Yes I was scared for a moment. That snake really jumped out far.
