I decided to start the new month off on the right foot by hiking Mount Ord again.

The weather was great -- at the TH it was in the 50's when I started and in the 70's when I finished. The air had a crisp, fall feel to it.

I saw a tarantula on FR 626 on the way up, and on the way back saw a deer in about the same spot.

FR 27 is badly eroded in a number of places. The mountain may reclaim the road at some point.
